The Farm

Roly Poly Farm is located in the hills of Gidgegannup, 45 minutes from the city of Perth, WA, Australia.

We lease our little home and 30 acres of rolling landscape, which is abundant with spring-fed dams, old growth forest, and black cockatoos. We are blessed with water and space. Whilst the granite soils and rolling hills mean that we are faced with a few challenges, we believe that no farm is without it's quirks, and we feel truly blessed to be in a location that can produce beautiful food.

The name 'Gidgegannup' comes from a Nyoongar word meaning "Place where spears are made". It was first recorded by passing surveyors in 1852. Like much of the South-West Australia, the area has a dark past, however little is recorded about it. Roly Poly Farm would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Nyoongar people. We acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this region, city and boodja, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
